Proceeds from our events directly contribute to charitable initiatives that support seniors, veterans, and other deserving individuals and communities. Fund raising is done using several different methods including:

- Buy a Show ($ goes to charity)
- Raffles (baskets, prizes, and 50/50 drawings)
- Ticket Sale
- Donations
- Grants/Scholarship/Voucher
- Sponsorships
Buy a Show ($ goes to charity)
The “pay for it” method is a standard fee for service payment in which the organization hosting the event would pay for services rendered by RKRM. All proceeds go into our general funds and are used for charitable giving and to fund the RKRM mission.
Raffles (baskets. 50/50)
The “raffle” method is used when a hosting organization cannot pay for services provided, in which case raffles and/or other methods of generating revenue are used to pay for services. Often this method has been used with adult living communities where people within the community enjoy participating in 50/50 raffles or taking a chance with a raffled item.
RKRM can assist in developing the items to be raffled off. The proceeds above and beyond the necessary fee for service can then be split in some pre-negotiated manner.
Tips
Tips are accepted by the talent during the entertainment event and is used as a supplemental income to the talent or can be donated if talent so chooses.
Sell Tickets
Ticket sales is another easily implemented method by which to generate revenue to pay for a RKRM event. Ticket sales are usually handled by the host organization, however in some cases RKRM can assist with ticket sales for some pre-negotiated percentage as a fee for service.
Donations
Because RKRM is a nonprofit organization it can legally accept donations. All donations are accounted for internally and can be used for charitable giving. In some cases, this charitable giving may come in the form of grants to veteran and elderly organizations who cannot afford and RKRM event. You can donate directly on this website by clicking this link.
Grants
Grants are donations provided by government and nonprofit organizations interested in funding to veteran and elderly host organizations who cannot afford to hold RKRM events. Some grants come from sponsoring non-profit organizations who have strategic partner relationships directly with RKRM.
Sponsorships
Sponsorships are monetary donations used by partnering organizations to support and fund RKRM events. Sponsorships also include opportunities for marketing and associating the partnering organizations brand with the Rain Kindness Rain Music Mission.
